AKRON, Ohio - The Twinsburg man accused of stabbing his wife to death appeared in a Summit County courtroom on Friday.
Glenn Wong was ordered to surrender his passport and his $1 million bond was continued, Summit County Court of Common Pleas documents said. The 50-year-old is charged with two counts of aggravated murder, as well as one count each of murder, kidnapping, felonious assault and domestic violence.
Twinsburg police were called to the family's Abrams Drive home on Feb. 24 following a disturbing 911 call by the couple's 10-year-old daughter.
"My dad is murdering my mom," the girl told the 911 dispatcher. "Please, I need the police. Please come. Please help."
Officers found Tami Wong, 46, had suffered several stab wounds in a first-floor bedroom, police said. She was taken to the Cleveland Clinic Twinsburg Family Health Center, where she died from her injuries.
The girl's 8-year-old brother was also at home at the time, but they were not injured. Both are in the care of relatives.
