Three arrested in connection with Summit County drive thru robbery

GREEN, Ohio - Three men have been arrested in connection with a March robbery at a drive thru in Summit County.

The Sheriff's Office said on Friday, March 29, at approximately 10 p.m., two individuals dressed in dark clothing and ski masks entered the Thomas' Drive Thru located at 3582 South Arlington in the City of Green.

They said the masked individuals approached two employees and demanded cash and their cell phones. The suspects then fled the business with cell phones and an undisclosed amount of cash.

After BCI conducted processing of DNA evidence, two 19-year-olds from Green, Kenneth Simmons and David Murren III, were arrested Monday for Aggravated Robbery.

A search of Murren's home revealed additional evidence which led to the arrest of Brian Rubino, 18, of Springfield, on drug possession charges.
