A 6-year-old who was hit by a car while riding his bike was pulled off life suport on June 12, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner's office.

Michael Roberts, 6, was hit by a car while riding a bicycle in Akron back in April.

According to Akron police, the Tallmadge boy was in very critical condition at Akron Children's Hospital after the crash.

Police said Michael was riding a bicycle near Lucy Street and Duane Avenue when he went through a stop sign and was struck by a car driven by a 24-year-old Akron woman.

Investigators did not believe the driver was at fault but police said she was cited for having a suspended license.
