MACEDONIA, Ohio - A trio of alleged robbers are now behind bars, accused of tying up T-Mobile workers in Macedonia and raiding the store of cell phones on Oct. 15.
Macedonia police found two of three men suspected of robbing the store when executing a search warrant on Mountville Drive in Maple Heights. The third man they said was involved in the robbery turned himself in to authorities Thursday.
Around 200 cell phones were taken from T-Mobile store and more than half were found while searching the suspects' homes, according to authorities.
De'Monte Thompson faces aggravated robbery and kidnapping charges. He's believed to also be responsible for a handful of other robberies throughout Cuyahoga County.
Police said Curtis Bobbitt was the getaway driver and has been charged with complicity. He's under investigation for possible links to other robberies.
Marlon Portis Jr. turned himself over to police Thursday and has also been slapped with multiple robbery charges.
A fourth man may face charges for buying dozens of the stolen phones, according to detectives.
