STOW, Ohio - Stow Police are searching for suspects involved in the shooting of two young men Saturday night.
The Stow Police Department received a call around 6:33pm reporting that male subject had been shot at a residence in the 4000 block of Osage Street. When officers arrived they found 20-year-old Jason Hoy shot in a lower extremity. EMS transported Hoy to a local hospital for further treatment where he was later interviewed at the hospital by detectives.
At 7:01pm the Stow Police Department received a call from the Emergency Room at Akron General North and were informed that another male victim, 21-year-old Andrew Brown, had been transported by a private vehicle to the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the leg in connection Hoy's shooting. Stow Detectives interviewed Brown a short time later.
Both Hoy and Brown told detectives that three black males entered the residence and that one of the males shot both of the victims and then fled the scene.
The injuries to the victims are not life threatening.
Stow Police Department evidence technicians processed the crime scene where they recovered several shell casings, a quantity of marijuana, scales and other drug paraphernalia.
The Stow Police Department is following up on several leads and the investigation is continuing.
