A 33-year-old male working as a security guard was fatally shot outside the Game 7 Bar and Grille shortly after 9:00 p.m. Saturday night.
The security guard — later identified as Daniel Turner of Akron — was standing near the front door when someone fired a shot, striking him in the hip.
He was transported to Summa Akron City Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
There is no suspect positively identified in relation to the shooting.
