Tallmadge police have made multiple arrests, including two juveniles, in connection to an armed robbery and drive by shootings.

According to a press release, a 41-year-old Akron man told authorities that he was approached by a man with a knife around 5:30 a.m. on April 16 while he was pumping gas.

The man said the suspect demanded money but fled in a tan Honda after he doused the assailant with gasoline.

Police were able to locate the vehicle matching the description and license plate on the 900 block of Norton Drive where they arrested the 17-year-old robber, Abdul-Fattah Sallora, 19, and another 16-year-old juvenile.

An investigation found evidence linking the 17-year-old and another adult male to three previous unsolved drive-by shootings.

Police said that around 10 p.m. on April 12, several shots were fired into a house on the e100 block of Antone Drive. On April 14 shots were fired into homes on the 700 block of Treat Blvd and 600 block of Newton Street. All three of the homes were occupied at the time but no one was injured, police said.

The 17-year-old was incarcerated at the Summit County Juvenile Detention Facility. The 16-year-old, who police say was present during the robbery, was also jailed at the same location.

Adam J. Zesiger, 18, who police identified as the driver of the vehicle used in the shootings, is currently residing in the Summit County Jail.

Zesiger and Sallora are both scheduled to appear in court on next week.
