People line up for newest Call of Duty video game, Black Ops 2

COPLEY TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Video game enthusiasts lined up at area electronic stores to get their hands on the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 video game late Monday night.

An estimated 300 people were in line at midnight Tuesday outside the Game Stop on Medina Road in Copley Township. Most people only had to wait outside for a short time but those who had to be first in line were at the store for three to four hours before the midnight release.

This is the ninth game released in the Call of Duty first person shooter franchise. According to an employee the Copley store had nearly a thousand preorders for the game.

For some like Daniel Shively it has become a tradition.

"My buddy and I have done it for the past, third year in a row now," Shively said.

Trevor Worrall a member of the United States Navy likes to compare the games to real world war situations, "Seeing how other people portray what its like to be in a war situation, getting other people's take on it," Worrall said.

Everyone who lined up at the store had their game in hand and were headed home to play the game by 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.
