Man robbed in Akron of $5,000 at gunpoint after answering Craigslist motocrycle advertisement

A man was robbed early Monday morning after he answered a Craigslist advertisement. 

Akron police said a man 22-year-old man was robbed of $5,000 after he agreed to meet a potential seller of a motorcycle he found on Craigslist.

The man, whose name was not given, drove to the 1500 block of Fairfax Road to meet up with the seller of a Harley Davidson Dyna motorcycle. The man and the seller, whose was also unknown, walked down the driveway to the back of the house.  The man was quickly confronted by three males, police said. 

One man pulled out a black handgun and pointed it at the buyer's head. The men then removed the man's wallet, containing a driver’s license, social security card and $5,000.00 in cash. The men later ran away. 

The four men are described as black males between the ages of 20 to 25. The potential seller is 5'10 to 5’11, weighs about 130 pounds with black short hair, a goatee and was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue and red Chicago Bulls shorts and goes by the name of Arwil. 

The second man is 20 to 25 years old, 5’9 and 200 pounds and goes by the name of Young Driel. The other two men are 20 to 25 years old. No further description was provided.
