On Wednesday night a man and woman barricaded themselves inside their home.

The Summit County Sheriff's SWAT team was called to the 1700 block of 3rd street at around 5:20 p.m. after receiving a tip that a man with an arrest warrant was barricaded inside.

The Cuyahoga Falls Police Department attempted to serve an arrest warrant on the man, Hunter A. Edwards, 37 of Akron. He refused to come out and authorities determined he was with a female acquaintance, Corrina A. Croskey, 44 of Cuyahoga Falls.

Croskey came out of the house and met with police, and at approximately 8 p.m. negotiators were able to get Edwards to come out of the house.

Police conducted a search warrant and found marijuana in the house.

Edwards was taken into custody and taken to the Summit County Jail, and Croskey was arrested and charged with resisting Arrest and obstructing justice. She was also taken to the Summit County Jail.
