Jury finds Glenn Wong, Twinsburg man charged with stabbing wife to death, guilty on all counts

AKRON, Ohio - A Summit County juryfound Glenn Wong guilty on all counts.

The Twinsburg man who is charged with stabbing his wife to death in February 2013.

Glenn Wong, 51, was convicted of aggravated murder, felonious assault, domestic violence and kidnapping. A jury trial started Monday, according to court records, and the jury went into deliberation today.

Wong will be sentenced at 9 a.m. May 2.

Police said they located Tami Wong’s body in the first floor bedroom with multiple stab wounds. She was taken to the Twinsburg Family Health & Surgery Center, where she later died.

The couple's two children — a 10-year-old girl and 8-year-old boy — were home at the time and witnessed their mother's death, according to police and 911 calls.

The 10-year-old called 911 as the ordeal was unfolding at 7:06 a.m.

"My dad is murdering my mom. I don't really know what's going on," the girl told the 911 operator.

"I think my dad is mad at my mom. Please, I need the police. Please come. Please help," the girl said a little later.

"The 911 call is chilling. In more than 20 years, I probably haven't heard one that is worse than that," said Police Chief Chris Noga.
