BRECKSVILLE, Ohio - Cuyahoga Valley National Park announces it's reopening early Thursday morning, just hours after lawmakers reached a deal to end the government shutdown.
Chief Ranger Chris Ryan expressed his appreciation for the public's patience. He says, "It was a difficult situation where we encouraged people to visit their national park, and then we told them it was closed. Now the park has reopened, we welcome you back to visit your national park and enjoy the spectacular fall colors."
All activities will resume immediately.
