CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio - Cuyahoga Falls High School is closed Friday due to a bomb threat.
The school's principal said late Thursday night, the school received a bomb threat via email which said an explosive device was scheduled to detonate at the high school at an unspecified time Friday.
After the superintendent made the decision to close school, school personnel and law enforcement conducted a search of the building.
The Cuyahoga Falls Police K9 Unit was at the scene. The Summit County Sheriff also assisted with a bomb sniffing dog to help with the search.
Nothing suspicious was located in the building.
An investigation is ongoing.
