GREEN, Ohio - A Canal Fulton woman was killed in a two-car crash in Summit County that has a major roadway closed through Friday evening.
The incident happened at about 2 p.m. Friday on Arlington Road near Arlington Ridge in Green.
According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, a 33-year-old woman drove her Toyota Matrix into the back of a van that was stopped.
The woman was taken to the hospital, but died a short time later. Her name has not been released.
Deputies said a passenger in the matrix and the driver of the van were transported to nearby hospitals. Their conditions have not yet been released.
Investigators said the northbound lanes of Arlington Road at Arlington Ridge will be shut down with limited access until about 7 p.m. Friday. Drivers will want to find an alternate route.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
