Akron mother shot by boyfriend stabilized after surgery

The Akron mother who was shot multiple times by her boyfriend has been stabilized, but is still in serious condition after undergoing surgery Thursday morning at Akron City Hospital. 

Bianca Haskell, the 26-year-old mother of three, was shot by Jamarian Williams, 25, after he kicked in the door to an Inman Street home on Wednesday evening. 

newsnet5.com originally decided not to identify Haskell because she is a victim of domestic violence. However, family members agreed Friday to an interview and was comfortable with the use of her name in our reporting.

Williams was arrested a and charged with felonious assault, having weapons while under disability, endangering children, domestic violence, willful fleeing, tampering with evidence, receiving stolen property, carrying concealed weapons and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

He was being held in Summit County Jail on a $1 million cash bond.
