Akron man wanted after police say he choked girlfriend, broke kitten's neck

AKRON, Ohio - Akron police are looking for a man they say choked his girlfriend and broke a kitten's neck.

Patrick M. Palmer, of Akron, got into an argument with his girlfriend on the Fourth of July at about 1 p.m. Police said the 28-year-old kicked, choked and shoved the woman against an SUV in the driveway.

Palmer also picked up a kitten in the front yard, broke its neck and threw the animal at his girlfriend, according to Akron police. He fled before officers arrive.

Palmer is wanted for domestic violence with a previous conviction, criminal damaging and cruelty to animals. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Akron police.
