An Akron man plead guilty in connection with his uncle's heroin death Tuesday, the Summit County prosecutor's office announced Tuesday.

Robert Mullins, 43, was found dead in his house in February of 2015. His 27-year-old nephew, Larry Moore of Akron, had supplied Mullins with heroin the day before he was found dead, according to authorities.

Then, 10 months after Mullins passed away, investigators received information that Moore was allegedly selling drugs out of the same house where his uncle had died.

Police also found crystal meth inside the home.

Moore pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter, aggravated trafficking and trafficking in heroin.

The Summit County Common Please Court sentenced Moore to five and a half years in prison. Moore was also required to forfeit more than $3,000 seized by investigators.
