A man serving a 20- to 50-year sentence for raping more than a dozen women in Akron was denied parole today, Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh announced.
David Allen Bellomy—dubbed the Goodyear Heights Rapist for the neighborhood in which he committed his crimes—will be eligible for parole again in 2025.
Bellomy was convicted in 1996 for raping more than a dozen women in Goodyear Heights between 1985 and 1995.
