CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio - Jurors have found a 70-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man guilty of his 12th OVI charge in 25 years.
Edward South, 70, was convicted of two felony OVI charges stemming from a December crash.
Police said South crashed into a pole on Dec. 26, 2012 in Cuyahoga Falls and walked away from the scene. No one was injured in the crash.
Cuyahoga Falls police tracked South to his daughter's house where South blew a .087 in a breath test. Authorities said South was also driving with a suspended license when he wrecked.
"This is Mr. South's 12th OVI conviction in the last 25 years," said prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh. "He clearly has not learned his lesson and remains a danger to society as long as he has access to a vehicle and our roadways."
Sentencing for South is set for 1 p.m. on May 23. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
