AKRON, Ohio - Two suspects were arrested in the shooting death of a 23-year-old Akron man.
Akron police said Paris Wicks II and Branson Price, both 23 of Akron, were shot outside a convenient store on Lovers Lane on Aug. 29. Price survived the robbery, but Wicks died from his injuries.
Officers arrested 25-year-old David Patrick Phillips and a 15-year-old boy for their involvement, according to Akron police. NewsChannel5 does not identify juvenile suspects.
Phillips was charged with complicity to commit aggravated murder and aggravated murder, and taken to the Summit County Jail. The teen was charged with aggravated murder, robbery and felonious assault. He was taken to the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.
