The bodies of two men who died in an apparent gunfight were found Thursday night near a park in Canton.
The two men were found around 9:38 p.m. in the vicinity of Monument Park, near the corner of Monument Park N.W. and 11th Street N.W., according to police.
The park is near the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum.
Authorities responded to the area after receiving a report of shots fired from city's ShotSpotter system.
Police said it both victims died from gunshot wounds. It appears the two men had been shooting at each other.
The men were identified as 21-year-old Justin L. Griffith and 25-year-old Tyrell Culver. Both men are residents of Canton.
