PD: Meth lab found after Uniontown home break-in

Police discovered a meth lab Sunday after responding to calls saying that someone was breaking in to an abandoned home on Edison Street, according to Uniontown police.

When officers arrived, they allegedly found the lab and a man who appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
 
Jay Head, 40, broke in to his recently deceased parents' home, authorities said.
 
Head was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated possession of drugs, breaking and entering, and illegal manufacture of drugs - methamphetamine, according to police.
 
An investigation ensued with Uniontown officers and the Stark metro drug unit.
 
Head was booked into the Stark County Jail.
