A Jackson Township doctor's office was raided Wednesday by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office Health Care Fraud Unit as well as other local agencies.
The attorney general's office confirmed to newsnet5.com that Dr. Frank Lazzerini's office at Premiere Family Practice was raided. Authorities would not provide details regarding the reason for the search.
Jackson Township police and the Stark County Prosecutor's Office are leading the investigation. The FBI, DEA, Ohio State Medical Board, Ohio Board of Pharmacy and the METRICH Drug Task Force also assisted Wednesday.
Premiere Family Practice is located on Fulton Road.
