MANSFIELD, Ohio - A Mansfield school bus driver was cited after crashing into another car Monday afternoon, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
James Adams, 53, was driving the Madison Local School bus on Hull Road when it slid on loose gravel near Mansfield Washington Road, troopers said. While the PT Cruiser tried to avoid the bus, it was hit on the driver's side.
There were seven elementary school children on the bus at the time and not were injured.
Troopers said the 63-year-old man driving the PT Cruiser was taken to Mansfield Med-Central by the Madison Township paramedics. His two passengers were not injured.
The patrol said Adams was cited for failure to control.
