BELLVILLE, Ohio - A Bellville family is awaiting liquor violation charges after deputies said they found more than 250 pounds of moonshine mash in the laundry room.
The moonshine bust happened on Aug. 16 at a home located in the 7400 block of Garber Road, according to Richland County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies said an anonymous tip led them to the moonshine discovery.
According to the police report, 11 guns were collected, as well as items used to make the liquor including a homemade still, bottles, blue barrels with mash liquid, feed sacks with corn and tubing.
It's illegal to make moonshine in Ohio.
The names of the three suspects will not be released until they are officially charged.
