A man wearing a mask robbed a Cleveland Heights bank Monday afternoon.
MANSFIELD, Ohio - The FBI is looking for a man who robbed a KeyBank in Mansfield wearing a surgical mask.
According to authorities, the robbery happened on April 2 around 1:45 p.m.
Police said the man walked inside the Ashland Road bank wearing sunglasses and a surgical mask, dressed in an Ohio State University sweatshirt and Carhart jacket and carrying a red, five-gallon gas can.
Agitated, the man approached a teller and handed over a note demanding money. Authorities said he kept his hand in his coat pocket as if suggesting he had a handgun. No weapon was shown.
The man then took off on foot with the gas can toward the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Ashland Road.
A $500 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the robber.
