Following the announcement from Cedar Fair Entertainment company will closeWildwater Kingdomfor good on September 5, fans of the park have started a petition to save it.
The petition on change.org that was started by Heather Schneider has more than 2,000 signatures.
The description of the petition reflects some of the personal thoughts of the people who are upset with the park's closing. The page itself is full of comments from fellow attendees.
Once it has gained enough signatures it will be sent to Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, as well as the Mayor of Aurora, Ann Wormer Benjamin and her Executive Assistant Tracy Humbert.
