STREETSBORO, Ohio - Police in Streetsboro say speed may be a factor in a two-car crash that injured three people on New Year's Day.
Jeremy Braynard, 17, of Streetsboro, was driving northbound on state Route 43 when he lost control of his Mitsubishi Spider at about 8:22, Streetsboro police said. His car went over the center line and hit 21-year-old Nathaliah Carver's Infinity G20
Braynard and Carver were taken to Robinson Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said Braynard's passenger, 18-year-old Kevin Jones, of Streetsboro, was taken to Akron City Hospital by medical helicopter. His condition is not known at this time.
According to Streetsboro police, the crash is still under investigation and excessive speed appears to be a factor.
