MANTUA, Ohio - UPDATE: Mantua lifted its boil alert just after 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Residents in the Village of Mantua are without water Saturday. Officials say repairs at the water plant are complete and water is being pumped into the plants main holding tank. Once the tank is full, water levels at the reservoir will be restored. The process may take several hours.
Village staff will be flushing water hydrants throughout Saturday. A boil alert will be in effect for up to 72 hours following the return of water service.

The Red Cross and Hiram fire department will be providing bottled drinking water and tanker water to residents at Buchert Park starting at 5:30 p.m. Residents may bring buckets and containers to fill.
