SUFFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - On June 21, the Portage County Drug Task Force arrested and booked three people in Suffield Township for violation of state narcotic laws.
Justin Davis, 31, and Brittany Donahoe, 27, were charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs, a felony of the second degree, and possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture drugs, a felony of the third degree.
Ralph Davis, 51, was charged with permitting drug abuse, a felony of the fifth degree, and possession of chemicals used to manufacture drugs, a felony of the third degree.
All three were residents of 481 Arehart Dr.
According to Sheriff David W. Doak, task force members received complaints of methamphetamine being manufactured at the Davis residence on Arehart Drive.
Following investigation, task force members obtained a search warrant. Task force members recovered chemicals and components of a functional meth lab inside the residence.
Assistance of the Suffield fire and rescue team was requested due to the hazardous chemicals inside the residence. Members of a chemical disposal unit were called to the scene to take custody of the chemicals for disposal.
A few days later, on June 24, Task Force members received another complaint of drugs being sold at the Flamingo Motel, 6893 Waterloo Rd. in Atwater Township.
After obtaining and executing a search warrant, Michael Wise, 45, and the manager of the Flamingo Motel, was arrested and booked for violating state narcotic laws.
The Task Force recovered an undisclosed amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Wise was previously arrested by the Portage County Drug Task Force on June 12.
The Portage County Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Portage County Sheriff's Office, Portage County Prosecutor's Office, U.S. Drug enforcement Administration, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
