Police evacuate Walmart store on Singletary Road in Streetsboro for bomb threat

STREETSBORO, Ohio - The Walmart store in Streetsboro was evacuated Wednesday evening after a bomb threat, police said.

The Streetsboro Police Department said the threat was called into the store by a woman, who said "a bomb is in the building" then hung up.

Workers called 911 and evacuated the store, while police and fire officials searched the store. Police said nothing suspicious was found.

At about 6:30 p.m., people were allowed back into the store.

This incident is still under investigation.

On Aug. 15, employees evacuated customers from the same Walmart for a phoned-in bomb threat. Police didn't find anything suspicious and the store was back open soon after.
