KENT, Ohio - A Kent State University student who is accused of hiding a gun in connection with the shot fired on the Kent State campus April 2 has been charged with a felony.
She was indicted by a grand jury Friday.
Breana Francis, 20, was charged with obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence.
According to police, Francis hid Quavaugntay Tyler's gun after he allegedly discharged his gun during a domestic dispute near Bowman Hall last week.
She was arrested April 4 in her Johnson Hall dorm room on the college campus. She was booked in the Portage County jail.
