May 4 was a date burned in the minds of many around Northeast Ohio.
KENT, Ohio - Kent State University issued an alert early Monday morning after an armed robbery near campus.
According to Kent police, two men entered the Circle K on Main Street just before 3 a.m., showed a handgun and demanded cash.
The school said this is across from White Hall.
Here are descriptions of the men involved, as released by police:
ROBBER NO. 1
- Heavyset man
- Wearing blue jeans and a black jacket with a zipper
ROBBER NO. 2
- Thin man
- Wearing a light-colored hoodie, light-colored cargo pants & dark tennis shoes
One of the robbers was said to have an orange backpack.
