On Thursday at approximately 11:26 p.m., Aurora police received a call for a head on collision that involved two cars in the 100 block of State Route 43.
Police said a preliminary investigation indicated that a Ford Mustang driven by a man went left of center and struck a Ford Focus driven by a 22-year-old woman from Streetsboro.
In all, police reported four people had to be cut free from the wreckage and all remained in serious condition.
Officials believed alcohol was a contributing factor to the accident.
