The Aurora Police Department found nine puppies crammed inside a plastic box on the side of the Ohio Turnpike in Streetsboro.
The Labrador and Pit Bull mix puppies were 10 to 12 weeks old.
All the puppies are currently under observation at the Euclid Veterinary Clinic.
