The Ohio State Highway Patrol and local police will be out in full force this Memorial Day weekend.
The beefed up patrols are aimed at getting impaired drivers off of the roads in Ohio.
Memorial Day is historically a dangerous holiday weekend on Ohio roads, according to police.
Last Memorial Day weekend was deadly.
"In 2012 there were 13 fatal crashes, seven of those were alcohol related," said Lt. Bill Haymaker from the Medina post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reminding drivers to buckle up and don't drink and drive.
Motorists are encouraged to call #677 to report impaired drivers or drug activity.
