Sealy mattress theft: $60,000 worth of mattresses stolen from semis in Medina

MEDINA, Ohio - Three tractor-trailers full of Sealy mattresses worth $60,000 were stolen in Medina last week.

Medina police said the thefts happened between Aug. 16 and Aug. 18. One semi was recovered last Monday at Friendsville and Seville roads in southern Medina County. The trailers have full Sealy markings like the picture above.

All three semis were parked in an overflow lot near the Sealy production plant. They contained about $20,000 worth of mattresses each.

Medina Police Department detectives continue to investigate the incident.
