BRUNSWICK, Ohio - A new memorial was officially dedicated in Brunswick on Veterans Day.
A brick walkway made with inscribed pavers, a new gazebo, flags and a tomb are all part of a lasting tribute to veterans at the Westview Cemetery in Brunswick.
"We should honor veterans 365 days a year. They should be in our heart everyday," said Commander of VFW Post 9520 Norm Cerny.
The project was a labor of love for several veterans who spent months making it a reality.
To do it, the veterans sold about 300 pavers and several flag poles.

"I do want to thank Channel 5, the only one who answered my call when I wanted somebody out here," said Cerny.
Memorial Day and Veterans Day services are held at the cemetery each year.
