MONTVILLE TWP, Ohio - Mobile Meals of Northeast Ohio is celebrating "March for Meals" month.
The program is designed to bring awareness to senior citizens who are hungry and the importance of it's meal delivery service.
Montville Township Trustee Ron Bischof took part in the program by dropping off a box of frozen foods the home of Ann and Scotty Alexander.
The Alexanders have a hard time getting around and Ann says the delivery of food is a big help. "It saves up going out mainly and it saves us money, so we can buy other things that we need, rather than this. But it's a very good program."
Mobile Meals serves a 5 county area in Northeast Ohio. Each day they deliver about 2,500 meals to their clients, ranging in ages form 4 months to 108 years old. Last year they served 60 clients in Medina County.
