Medina Township police have located a missing 17-year-old girl who was believed to have run away from a group she was with Thursday evening.
Authorities located Alyssa Cunningham at a home on Stone Manor Circle, Brunswick. Police said they found the girl hiding inside a cardboard box under a blanket in the basement of the home.
After the girl went missing from Medina Skateland Thursday evening, she was seen on a nearby businesses security cameras.
Police said it appears the incident was a planned runaway.
