Medina runners race to honor Boston victims

Group raised money for Boston One Fund

MEDINA, Ohio - The Medina County Road Runners took part in a 2.62 mile race Saturday afternoon.

It was to honor and remember the victims of the Boston Marathon. The runners were dressed in yellow and blue, the colors of the this year's Boston Marathon. About 100 runners took part in the run and raised about $400. The money raised will be donated to a fund to help the victims in Boston.

NewsChannel 5's Bob Jones was among those who ran on Saturday.

The group raised almost $400 for the Boston One Fund.
