A two-year-old child was taken to Akron Children's Hospital after reportedly falling into a pool in Granger Township.
The toddler fell into a pool in the 1200 block of Medina Line Road, just before 7:30 p.m. Monday, according to the Medina County Sheriff's Office.
Officials say the toddler fell in the pool during a family cookout. The parents each thought the child was with the other parent.
The child is alive in the Akron Children's Hospital intensive care unit.
