A Lorain woman took action into her own hands after a pair broke into her car, chasing the duo and calling the police, eventually leading to their arrest.
"She noticed some of my belonging, that had been in my vehicle hidden, hidden on the side of their vehicle in the street,” Susan said.
It was around 7 a.m. Friday morning when she jumped into action.
A neighbor called Susan to say someone just broke into her car. She looked outside and saw her belongings on the ground.
Susan, who now fears the suspects, asked to not be shown on camera and have her last name withheld.
"I said that's them, that's gotta be them, and they jumped back in the car and they took off,” Susan said.
Susan followed the car, calling Lorain police with the thieves license plate number and car description.
With Susan's help, Lorain Police spotted the car, stopped it, and arrested the two men, Brandon Barron and Robert Cortez.
"Well it feels pretty good, feels pretty good. I just hope, everybody gets their things back and it doesn't happen again,” Susan said.
Lorain Police charged the men with seven crimes including breaking and entering.
Police said they could be tied to more burglaries and may face additional charges.
