WELLINGTON, Ohio - An 18-year-old horse that jumped the fence of his Wellington corral is still missing and his family is offering a reward.
The brown quarter horse named Bogey made his escape Monday afternoon, and could be wandering in the area of state Routes 58 and 20. Rachel DiCesare said they brought the horse to their Hughes Road home on Friday and they are worried he could get hit by a car.
DiCesare is offering a $1,000 reward for Bogey's safe return, since he had not been seen in several days. The family has been in touch with the Lorain County Sheriff's Department, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and area police departments.
Anyone who spots the horse should call the local authorities.
