The Lorain County Sheriff's Office has received confirmation that human remains found in Huntington Township earlier this year are those of Angela Hall, also known as Angela Serrano.

A man who owns property off State Route 58 found the remains in the area of New London Eastern Road in Huntington Township on March 22 while he was checking for damage from a wreck in the area a few days before.

DNA samples submitted to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation conclusively matched DNA samples provided by Angela Hall's family.

Hall had been missing since January 9, 1998, when she was 25-years-old. She was last seen getting into an unknown car in downtown Elyria.

Officials say the investigation is ongoing and no suspect has been identified. Anyone with information regarding Hall's disappearance is encouraged by the Lorain County Sheriff's Office to contact their Detective Bureau at 440-329-3742.
