A former Lorain County JVS employee has been charged with sexual battery.
Monique Overstreet, 23, of Elyria has been indicted on the charge in Lorain County Common Pleas Court. Deputy Superintendent Jerry Pavlik said that Overstreet helped teachers in the classrooms as a program aid until she resigned Nov. 16.
The indictment states that the offense happened on or about Nov. 7.
