Lorain County Community College holds 20th annual Family Fest & Scholar Salute Saturday

60 students honored

ELYRIA, Ohio - Lorain County Community College held it's 20th annual Family Fest Saturday.

Thousands of people turned out once again on a beautiful fall Saturday for an the annual Family Fest at the ever growing Lorain County Community College campus in Elyria. 
 
NewsChannel5's Paul Kiska, a LCCC graduate, served as emcee of the scholar salute which honors top notch high school and post secondary education students. 
 
Many high school students earn their high school diplomas while also taking college classes at LCCC.
 
LCCC has been offering many more four year degrees through its growing University Partnership program with other Ohio colleges.
 
The college is experiencing a growing campus with a new culinary arts building, a new TV production studio and a thriving small business incubator.
 
There was plenty of food, music and numerous kids activities including pony rides and trick or treat during Saturday's Family Fest.
