Four students injured in Carlisle Township school bus crash

CARLISLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Four students, between the ages of 10 and 12, were transported to the hospital with minor injuries Wednesday afternoon following a bus crash, according to firefighters.

Just before 3 p.m., firefighters said a pickup truck from McConnell Excavating company rear-ended the school bus on Middle Avenue near the railroad tracks.

Several students complained of injuries. They were transported to the hospital to be checked. The driver of the truck and driver of the bus were not hurt.

No other information was released.
