NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio - An animal rights group, Rescue Me Ohio, plans to protest North Ridgeville police Monday night during a council meeting.
According to its Facebook page, the group is peacefully protesting the shooting death of five kittens last week. They are asking if you attend, to listen to everyone's point of view.
The meeting is Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the North Ridgeville Council Chambers.
One week ago, a North Ridgeville humane officer shot five kittens after a homeowner called complaining about the feral cats.
The North Ridgeville Police Chief said the officer's actions were "appropriate" and he wouldn't be disciplined.
