Mentor Police Department located family of lost 9-year-old boy with special needs

Mentor Police Department have located the family members of a lost child.

Police said the child was a 9 year old African American boy. He is described as being 4 foot 2 inches tall and weighs 80 pounds. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and a Cleveland Indians baseball hat. 

According to authorities, the boy seemed very happy and healthy, but has special needs and was unable to provide all necessary information. 

The boy was found by citizens walking in the area of Wayside Drive and Brimfield Drive around 11:30 Friday morning.
